This was Catherine and Andy’s engagement shoot, in Cannon Hall Park which is actually five minuets from where I live. I used to play here as the little girl and knew it had a magical fairy-like ambiance to it. The ruins are tucked away at the bottom of the lily pond, hidden in all the reeds. I used flash to the right-hand side and shot it from the other side of the pond some distance away. It was fairly late in the evening with few people around which made it feel so much more special.

I was Clicking Brides Portraits before the arrival of the Groom and the Bride Laughed while she said to me: "Click all my Happy expressions before the groom arrives as my life's gonna change the very next minute he does".

The bride, Ash, was reading from a card. I can't remember what it said but it was lovely enough that it managed to get a tear out of her. Then everything just came together. Everyone positioned themselves just right. Ash started doing that weird flappy hand thing that girls do and started laughing. Then the pointed finger came in from the corner of the frame and I had the shot. I worked the scene as well - straight after this all of the girls started a hand flapping storm around Ash's face. I thought this shot was better, though!

I really liked the light coming thru the window and how it projects the shadows. I positioned the bride in a profile to give a dramatic reflective mood to the image. Of course the beautiful mural ceiling, ornate chandelier and the Portuguese tile was a nice bonus.

Many special elements came together for this photo - starting with a gorgeous bride, her dashing groom (a U.S. Navy officer) and their church in the heart of New York City. After their ceremony, the intrepid couple eagerly agreed to my request for portraits on Park Avenue. For everyone’s safety, we timed the quick shot with the traffic lights. When the couple leapt into the busy road and dipped and kissed - a pedestrian crossed on the left side behind them and a taxi approached on the right - framing the breathtaking moment with New York's magical energy.

Karen & Mark said their very heartfelt vows under the Old Fig Tree in Mandurah, Western Australia on a beautiful Autumn afternoon. The tree was significant for them so I suggested we create a double exposure image for them featuring the leaves.

As the couple was exiting the church I was just behind them gathering my things. And then I saw all of their loved ones look up at them and I thought how remarkable it was that everyone they love is right there at that moment and filled with love for them. I thought that was the perfect way to capture a photo of "everyone" and really showcase the joy of the day!

I was getting ready to leave the reception for the night and the couple was walking me out. As we walked past the building I unpacked my bag and told them I had one more idea for a photo and would they pose for a quick second. The lights were just too cool not to use. They obliged and we created one of my favorite images from that day.

Happened to do this amazing wedding during the late winters! Mother Nature was showering rain and I wanted to capture that moment so I asked the sharan and Keerthana; the bride and the groom to stand in middle of the garden! The atmosphere was really pleasant! It was surrounded with trees and it was their big day! Yet the bride was ready to stand in the rain! This picture is definitely one of my all time favourites!

This was an Arabic wedding photoshoot in the magic Margarita Island, Venezuela. It was a busy and beautifull day shooting in the beach with some problems with the air; it was so strong.

The backdrop of this photo is in Shek O, Hong Kong. Having them situated in opening space of ocean and sky, I wish to deliver the idea that they have each other to hold on to in this whole wide world. If you notice they were standing in exact middle position of the photo, you have catch on my idea of telling them that as long as they have each other’s back, they can create a bright future.
